Is it just me, or is there anybody else out there having problems with the newest version of the Pearl (8120)?
I’ve carried a Blackberry for three years and have always been a fan. But I’m really tired of the problems I’m having with this phone. I’ve only had this phone for 3 months, but since the first week it’s had memory issues.
Even if I sync with my laptop once/day, the phone locks up….. e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e d-a-y!
Yesterday it locked up 4 times, requiring me to take out the battery and “reboot” (so to speak), just to get it to work.
I’ve been on the phone with the help desk (TMO) several times, and while they are always helpful, my phone still has problems. On my last call to the helpdesk, I learned how to clear out the “event log” (alt, l, g, l, g). Sweet. Too bad it doesn’t fix my problem.
Is it just me? Somebody tell me if I’m crazy or if there’s a general disdain for this version of the Pearl!
